Xavier Nuñez, Joffrey Ballet Chicago
We are so excited to welcome special guest, Xavier Nuñez, from Joffrey Ballet Chicago! Xavier trained under Miguel Campaneria for many years, and he has offered to be our Special Guest during tomorrow's Summer Intensive technique class.
Xavier was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and began training at age ten at The Hartt Community Dance Division in Hartford, Connecticut.
Xavier’s accomplishments include the silver medal at the World Ballet Competition in the professional category. He has been a company member of companies all around the world including American Ballet Theatre Studio Company, The Tulsa Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, and eventually coming back to the states to his new home at Joffrey Ballet-Chicago.
